As a family-run company, it is important to us to protect the world for future generations. For this reason, climate protection has a very special meaning for us. We all bear responsibility for the world in which we live.
We have already been able to reduce our CO2 emissions through specific measures. In 2014, for example, we switched the entire company to energy-saving LED lighting, which enabled us to reduce annual electricity consumption by 18%.
Since 2018, we have been using environmentally friendly solar energy. With an output of 650 kWp, we were able to reduce our annual electricity consumption by a further 55%. On days when we feed surplus electricity into the grid, the entire company is supplied with 100% green electricity.
Since 2020 we have completely dispensed with fossil fuels at our location by converting our oil heating to modern air heat pumps. Thanks to sophisticated control technology, we make optimal use of the available PV power for our new heating system.
The aim is to continue to reduce our CO2 footprint in the future through further energy-related renovations and modernization of our buildings and machines. This means that we can not only guarantee our customers high-quality products, but also climate-neutral production, while at the same time making our contribution to the environment and intergenerational justice.
To ensure that our commitment to sustainability is not only tangible but also transparent and measurable, we successfully obtained certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 in 2025. This internationally recognized standard confirms that we take our responsibility seriously:
