Last week, we welcomed GBneuhaus GmbH to our technical center.
Over two days, practical tests were carried out directly on real components under production-like conditions.
GBneuhaus currently uses pneumatic spray guns in their coating processes.
The goal of the trials was to evaluate the performance and potential of high-speed rotary atomizers in combination with two different coating systems from GBneuhaus.
A high-speed rotary atomizer provided by Binks was used for the tests.
The complete paint supply was handled by a 1K system from POMA Systems, combined with a POMA gear metering pump to ensure precise and stable material delivery – ideal conditions for reliable test results.
The results:
✔️ significantly higher transfer efficiency
✔️ increased film thickness with reduced material consumption
✔️ stable and reproducible processes
A highly successful test run and a great example of how realistic trials in our technical center support well-founded decisions for future application concepts.
